The Screamers were one of those bands that history just somehow overlooked. This band that the Dead Kennedys , the Germs, the Dils and many of the other seminal left coast bands opened up for escaped notice and disappeared into obscurity while the aforementioned openers went on to cult like statuses.It may be that there was never a proper Screamers recording, it may be that the world just wasn't ready for synth/art punk at the time, or maybe it is some worldwide conspiracy to cover up a truly great band? Who knows...?
